Melody is wonderfully affectionate and never shy about asking for attention. Her slightly crossed eyes give her an irresistibly quirky derpy charm, and she’s happiest when she’s close by, enjoying rubs or grooming herself in peace. Simple-minded and easy-going, she doesn’t ask for much — just food, love, and a little company.
While she may look like she has a tortoiseshell coat, Melody is actually a calico with the tiniest touches of white. If you look closely, you’ll spot a small patch on her chest and little flecks at the very tips of her toes — a unique pattern that makes her truly one of a kind.
Melody does have a fractured wrist and is awaiting surgery, but this hasn’t dampened her affectionate nature or calm outlook on life. After spending time in another shelter and then waiting patiently at her current one for about three years, she’s more than ready to bring her special brand of love and gentle companionship into a forever home.
