Coral the purring machine

A gentle cat who takes her time and rewards you with endless purrs and even belly rubs.

Coral likes to observe her surroundings and takes a little while to settle into new places and people. Once she feels safe, she becomes wonderfully affectionate and turns into a steady purring machine. Head rubs are her favourite — find her sweet spots, and she’ll happily purr the day away. In the short time she has been with us, Coral has even allowed belly rubs and will come when we call her, a sweet sign of the trust she’s beginning to show.

True to her “tree cat” nature, Coral enjoys resting up high, where she feels secure and can relax while watching the world go by.

Like her friends, Coral was first housed at another shelter and has now been waiting patiently at her current one for about three years. She’s ready to find a home where she can feel safe, loved, and truly herself.
